Comprehending the Incomprehensible

"O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? 35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? 36For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen." Romans 11:33

In my human strength alone, I am nothing. Without the strength of Lord working in me I am weak, poor, wretched, naked, and blind. I have nothing to boast of in my flesh. Apart from God, there is in me no good thing. My sin and my iniquity would have crushed me long ago, and ground me in to powered and ash, but for the grace of God that picked me up and set me on the sure foundation of His love, love that will never fail.

By the sinless, precious, and costly-beyond-measure blood of Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, I have been redeemed from sin and death. He, who knew no sin, became sin for me that I might become His righteousness. Through His blood He cleansed me from my iniquity and forgave me all my sins.

Now I am no longer dead in sin but alive in Jesus Christ my Lord. All who belong to Christ now have the mind of Christ. We have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind. In Him we live and move and have our being. We are now new creations in Christ. We are creatures that never existed before. We are now His chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation whom He has called out of darkness into His marvelous light.

We have a new identity, a new spiritual makeup and substance. Yes, we are still creatures in this world, but we are not of it. Our new birth was not from this world. It is from God, from above, from incorruptible seed, the seed of Christ. Because of that, the desires of our hearts are being changed as we are being transformed by the renewing of our minds.

The old ways, the old thoughts, the old failures of guilt and sin have passed away, and all things that make us who we truly are in CHRIST are become new. In us now dwells the fullness of the Godhead, Jesus, the Son, God the Father, and God, the Holy Spirit,. We, the Body of Christ, are God the Father’s workmanship, created in Christ for good works.

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10

Beloved, now, in this very moment, just think about this, and let it sink in! We are the sons of God. We are men and women, old and young, from every family, tribe, people nation and tongue under heaven who now belong to God as His family. We belong to the God of all Creation, God, Who alone is God and in Him we have been given dominion over all His works. The title deed to all that He has created has been given to Jesus, and Jesus has freely given all things to us.

Though, for the present time, we do not yet fully comprehend the depth of what that means, because we are only able to see as through a glass dimly, nevertheless, there is in us a revelation of faith by the Holy Spirit, that gives us a glimpse into God's incomprehensible love, grace, wisdom, power, and glory! What we know now in part is by itself so overwhelming that to imagine fully the greater revelation to come when Christ is revealed in us is beyond our comprehension.

When we worship, when we pray, when we sing and make music to God, while we are in the natural world, we make a connection in our spirit to the world of His eternal presence, and our bodies, being engaged by every part of our human senses, confirms in us that we are connected supernaturally to the glory of God.

When we worship God in spirit and in truth, He inhabits our praises with His presence. That is to say that, whatever encompasses the presence of God, His glory, His majesty, the very magnificence of the dazzling light emanating from His throne with all the Angels, Archangels, Living Creatures and Elders, who cease not day and night worshipping Him, comes to where we are, and He enthrones Himself in the midst of our praises!!! In that place of His presence and power we are transformed into His image and likeness.

"I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting." 1 Timothy 2:8

36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen." Romans 11:33
